Weathering the Storm—

There was a pause of peaceful silence, a familiar heaviness in the air.

With the first earthshaking roar of thunder, the birds along the shoreline headed for cover.

Powerful wind gusts, then a brilliant flash of lightning.

Culminating with a downpour of drenching rain that turns into hail.
