Liberty Lake Farmers Market 2015
Opening day in the new Town Square Park… an ever increasing mix of quality vendors.
Found some good Stuff on opening day-
Greek Freak™ Rub from the Spiceologist
On display were twelve spice mixes including Smoky Honey Habanero, Rasta Rub & Black Magic Cajun Rub. I chose the Greek Freak Rub & tried it in a tasty cheese burger & homemade pizza.
Butter Lettuce & Asian Mustard from C & S Hydro Huts
A family-run hydroponic farm offering nutritious, high quality,
fresh greens to local residents & businesses 365 days a year.
Fresh Farmstead Goat Cheese from the Chattaroy Cheese Company
Owner Lon suggested I try the Lavender Spice Chevre.
He teamed up with local lavender grower Vivien Nielson of Garden Gate Farms
to create this flavorful cheese that made a wonderful salad & pizza topper.
Gourmet Foragables- wild mushrooms & other foraged goods
It was my first chance to try Morels!
This booth of wild edibles also featured Ramps & Fiddlehead Furns
harvested in the wild throughout the Northwest.
