Location Shooting used to mean driving around the Sierra with a quiver of “fluffed” up sleeping bags in the back ready to go…
I was headed south, just after a fresh snowstorm when I spotted the perfect pullout.
Looking SW towards Yosemite National Park with the Sierra Crest backdrop from Dunderberg Peak to Twin Peaks.
I placed the bag down carefully upon the snow without any footprints, added some reflectors & bracketed away!
Captured December 1979 on Kodachrome 25, Nikon F3, Nikkor 50mm 1.4
